Binary Group Awarded Multiple Contracts to Optimize Resources and Financial Performance for the Army

Binary Group was recently awarded several Army contracts to help resource managers and financial management leaders optimize resources, improve financial performance, and increase staff proficiency and productivity. Contracts included supporting the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management & Comptroller, Fort Belvoir Garrison, Fort Myer Garrison, Fort Knox Network Enterprise Center, Army National Guard GA, and Fort Bliss Financial Management Sustainment Unit.

  • After conducting a financial review & analysis, identified $4 million to use for a Garrison’s mission requirements
  • Saved 1.2 FTE’s annually by improving business processes
  • Improved reimbursable recovery by 32%, enabling a Garrison to better manage their budget and avoid using current year funds on services delivered
  • Impacted more than $2.8 million for an Army organization by better reallocating / realigning funds and clearing problem transactions to successfully complete FY14 close-out
  • Within the first day, found $300k reimbursable MIPRS to be billed / collected, improving a National Guard FMSD’s purchasing power
