Strategy Case History

The Army CIO/G-6 and the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army for Business Transformation (DUSA-BT) had a requirement to develop the Army's Enterprise Transition Plan to fulfill the legislative mandate levied on DoD to report how Information Technology is being leveraged to support business transformation. Binary responded to the Army's need by developing a data acquisition strategy and helping to organize the collaboration effort with DUSA-BT's office and the Business Mission Area Domains.

Binary deployed the data acquisition strategy and our staff adjudicated comments and responded to input from the Domains, the Mission Area Lead, and other DoD components. The project strategy resulted in improved methods for gathering data from each of the Domains, improved data quality, and savings of more than $200K, while meeting the deadlines imposed by the legislative mandate.
