SAP Senior Subject Matter Expert
Job Description
The SAP Senior Subject Matter Expert supports the Army GFEBS Functional Team by providing subject matter expertise by being active, proactive and manages efforts as required in support of the GFEBS procure-to-pay (P2P) pilot developmental efforts and follow-on production by executing the following duties and responsibilities.

Supplier Resource Management (SRM) functional lead for configuration and support for Purchasing Materials Management (MM), Inventory and Warehouse Management (IM/WM), Logistics Information Systems (LIS), GR/IR processing, Goods Receipts, Invoice Receipts and Accounts Payable (AP), including disbursement operations, as these business functions relate to SRM, Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP Portal, Document Exchange and Supplier Collaboration.

Lead functional SRM resource responsible for design, configuration, unit testing, and documentation of existing or proposed business process flows, gap analysis and functional specifications and related RICEF.

Manage planning, business process redesign, conversion, and functional lead business blueprint workshops.
·
Project lead responsible for unit, string, integration, FFMIA, and other Government required testing; issue resolution, issue documentation.
·
Functional advocate responsible for actively engaging and supporting training material preparation, training delivery, cutover planning and cutover for successful go live.
·
Act as lead SRM Self-Service Procurement (SSP) and MM resource, to include SRM configuration for blue printing phase and realization.
·
Perform gap analysis for configuration requirements, training, detailed unit testing, training preparation, process flows and detailed work instructions.

Apply SAP knowledge and expertise to accomplish assigned tasks leading to the development and execution of a P2P pilot; issue resolution; and realization resulting in production and fielding P2P utilizing the GFEBS baseline design.

Work with SAP in leveraging SAP’s Procure-to-Pay demonstration technology stack and configuration migration to the BTA COE development environment and then subsequently move both the tech stack and configuration to the GFEBS development environment.

Engage contracting, logistics, finance and disbursement functional stakeholders as required in order to gain support for the Procure-to-Pay pilot
Additional Qualifications

Knowledgeable of civilian or military pay processes
·
Experience with developing or using ERP
Educational Requirements
:
Bachelors Degree plus 10+ years of experience with SAP project implementations or upgrades, system design, configuration, Business Process Reengineering and Project Management.
